In spring, summer and autumn, the yurt is available for holiday hire. A truly authentic nature experience.
It is spacious (7 m in diameter), free standing, out of sight from the main house, and idyllically situated in the middle of the orchard. For anyone who seeks peace and quiet.
Prices: €85 per night for 1 person/€100 per night for 2 people.
Additional costs: End-of-stay cleaning €25.
Optional firewood €25 per basket; a contribution for electricity and/or gas may apply.
Simple furnishings: double mattress (duvet, pillows), table and 2 chairs, seating area with coffee table and meditation cushions, side table for plates, crockery, glasses and cups, thermos flask and water jug. There is a vaulted cellar and a fridge in the house for food storage. Shared use of toilet, kitchen & bathroom in the house. Low-radiation. Internet available in and outside the house. Small outdoor toilet for night-time use.
Outdoor seating area: wooden table and chairs, which can be placed in either shade or sun.
Light: candle lanterns and solar lighting. During daytime a skylight, two windows and the door window provide natural light and views.
An electricity cable can be provided on request (for a fee, depending on consumption).
Heating: wood-burning stove, wood optional at €25/basket; generally sufficient for 3 days. Gas heating (for a fee, depending on consumption).
Shared use of kitchen, bathroom and toilet.
Building materials 100% eco-friendly – Siberian larch, sheep’s wool felt insulation, floor insulated with burnt cork.

The property and surrounding area: a wide variety of trees and wild herbs. The landscape is hilly, rising to 400 metres. Also known as the ‘Palatinate Tuscany’. No industry in the vicinity, and the area has been used for organic farming for decades. Walking and cycling trails available. Not very touristy.
